North Carolina Dance Theatre has established itself as one of America’s premier dance companies. Led by internationally acclaimed President and Artistic Director Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, NC Dance Theatre is based on strong dancers, high energy, and a versatile repertoire that ranges from classical ballet to bold contemporary works that you will see sampled in Runway for the Ballet. 

North Carolina Dance Theatre is supported by individuals, the Arts & Science Council-Charlotte/Mecklenburg, Inc., corporations, local and national foundations, the North Carolina Arts Council, ArtsTeach and the National Endowment for the Arts. Every CMS Senior sees a NC Dance Theatre performance as part of their curriculum for free and the education and outreach programs are extensive and expensive!

All proceeds from Runway for the Ballet will help fund these educational programs and will allow us to invest in new choreography to elevate Charlotte's arts scene.

Opening Night Insiders produced and organized Runway for the Ballet. The group was created in response to young professionals' desire to get more involved. The group offers annual memberships for $92-$122 which includes tickets to three or four opening night performances as well as many more benefits including discounted tickets to other events (like Runway tickets!).
