Emcees

Runway for the Ballet is honored to have two wonderful emcees who in real life are fashion junkies and co-conspirators.

Ramona Holloway is the better half (!) of the Matt & Ramona Show on 107.9 The Link where she partners with Matt Harris, who she has known since 1995. The dynamic duo also co-host
Fox News Edge. This sassy former Nittany Lion is a perfect emcee for a fashion show because she is a self-described shopaholic! Ramona recognized Dance Theatre's own 15- year veteran Mia Cunningham as a Link Leading Lady.

The "Matt and Ramona Show" has been nominated for a Marconi Award and since 2001 has been a ratings powerhouse in the Carolinas' Queen City. In March of 2007 Ramona set out to develop and co-host a fun, faith-based Sunday morning radio show for WLNK. That program, "The Satisfied Life," hit the airwaves three months later.

Ramona began her career as an account executive with WNKO-FM and WHTH-AM in Newark, OH, after studying telecommunications at Penn State University. Her natural talents landed her on the airwaves and her next stop was WNCI in Columbus, OH. She created and hosted several talk shows for the station in addition to her work with the morning show.

Today, Ramona volunteers for the Lupus Foundation and serves on the board of directors for A Child's Place, an agency serving homeless children.

Jimmy Penman

Ramona is being joined by Jimmy Penman, a 19-year broadcast veteran who does double duty as a professional voice over actor and commercial real estate broker.  He was a deejay for Clear Channel Radio and who was heard on 106.5 The End. He is also the voice of 107.5 The Game, the home of the South Carolina Gamecocks.

A self-described 'half-breed', Penman straddled the Mason-Dixon line up through his teen years - living in both SC and PA.  Since 2002, he has called Charlotte, North Carolina home - a market bursting in the areas of entertainment, film, professional sports, finance, tourism, etc.

He lives in Charlotte with his family, including a lab puppy and 9-year old daughter who's bound and determined to become a meteorologist.
