Bathroom vending machines usually sell the same products such as condoms, sanitary wear and maybe the odd pair of tights. Now, the German market is seeing something of a revival in what we first considered to be essential vending machine supplies.
Thanks to the clever thinking of student Isabella Fendt, women are now able to go to bathroom vending machines in nightclubs and get a pair of âBallerina to Goâ flat shoes.
These vending machine supplies are flat shoes, designed to be worn after a night out dancing in high stilettos. They will appeal to a large number of women who cannot face the prospect of walking home in bare feet after dancing the night away. In fact, rumour has it that Isabella actually came up with the clever idea after getting sore feet herself after one too many nights out on the town.
As the shoes come in cute little bags, women are able to carry their discarded heels while walking home in comfort.
The idea is already proving to be popular and four nightclubs in Munich have already had the machines selling the disposable footwear installed.
Speaking to website Optimist World, one night club goer was relieved to put the flat shoes on at the end of the night.
She said: âWhat an amazing idea- itâs a lifesaver.
âAching feet are always the downside of dancing in killer heels so my feet will be forever grateful.â
The shoes are currently on sale for only 7 euros a pair which is a bargain price to pay for alleviating the pain of sore feet. They also keep your feet safe from walking on any broken glass and could even save you the bus or taxi fare home as they are extremely comfortable.
In addition, they are small enough to be stored in your bag when going out for the night meaning that sore dancing feet could soon become a thing of the past.
